indication The drug is a drug used to treat glaucoma. It belongs to a group of medicines called prostamides. Eye drops are used to lower elevated intraocular pressure. This medicine can be used alone or in combination with other eye drops (called beta blockers) that also lower intraocular pressure. Your eye contains a clear, watery fluid that nourishes the inside of the eye. This fluid is constantly drained from the eye and replaced with new fluid. If drainage cannot be done quickly enough, the pressure in the eye increases. This drug causes an increase in the amount of fluid drained. This reduces intraocular pressure. If high blood pressure is not reduced, it can lead to a condition called glaucoma, which can compromise your vision.
