The active ingredient is a synthetic thyroid hormone. A healthy thyroid gland in the human body produces two hormones that are important for metabolism. One is called levothyroxineor T4 and is a specific « depot ». If necessary, another, truly effective form is produced from it, the so-called liothyronineor T3.

Dosage
Take the medicine with liquid (for example, 1 glass of water).
The duration of use depends on the type of complaint and/or duration of the disease and is therefore determined only by your doctor.
Overdose
There may be various symptoms of overdose, including cardiac arrhythmia with rapid heartbeat , muscle spasms, fever and vomiting.
The dosage prescribed by the doctor may differ from the information indicated on the package. Because your doctor chooses them individually, you should use the medicine as directed.
